Jessica McIlhon is a multidisciplinary artist trained at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where her curiosity pushed her through countless mediums until glass—neon, fire, and bending tubes of light—captured her imagination. Today, she channels that same experimental energy into textile design, mosaic art, and ice dyeing as the founder of Scoops Color Lab, an edgy streetwear tie-dye brand built on bold color exploration and experimental techniques. Her work embodies resilience, joy, and transformation. She brings her deep color knowledge to every medium she touches, especially her expressive mosaic pieces. As an instructor, Jessica encourages her students to stay curious, play boldly, and trust the magic of experimentation—creating a welcoming environment that empowers beginners and seasoned creatives alike.
